It is not everyday that you would think of the punter as one of the best players on the team, but in the 2014-2016 seasons, Creekside struggled on offense and often had to rely on Garrison Turnage’s strong leg to flip the field for them. In 3 seasons as the Knight’s starting punter, Turnage averaged no less than 40 yards per punt with a long of 56 yards! Perhaps the only thing more impressive than the distance was the hang time! When he wasn’t showing off his punting skills, Turnage also put together an impressive career as a kicker and defensive back.
